Nicola Bradshaw – Medical Herbalist

Nicola is a qualified, insured Medical Herbalist and a member of NIMH (National Institute of Medical Herbalists) providing indepth, confidential 1:1 health consultations to support any symptoms that you are experiencing or to help improve your current health state using herbal medicine and lifestyle advice. A consultation will give you the time and space to explore your medical history and health concerns in a safe, non-judgemental and relaxed setting. She is trained to provide herbal medicine safely and effectively, working with any current medication that you may be using. Herbal medicine can help with a wide range of chronic ailments including – but not limited to – stress related illness, skin disorders, allergies, respiratory, digestive, emotional and hormonal health, aches and pains, energy and fatigue as well as supporting and improving immunity.

Before the consultation, I will ask you to provide me information on any diagnosisyou may have received, current medications and supplements that you may take by email or telephone.  We will then arrange an appointment as appropriate. Depending upon the nature of your enquiry, I may need to carry out a physical clinical examination. With your consent I can liaise and work with your G.P. or other health professionals if this is beneficial to progressing you back to a balanced health state. Following a consultation I will research and create a personalised herbal prescription in the form of a herbal tincture, tea, hydrosol or cream if appropriate, along with an achievable treatment plan covering lifestyle and nutritional recommendations. If required, follow up appointments will take place 2-6 weeks later to check how you are progressing.

Nicola trained in Herbal Medicine at University of East London and Betonica school of Herbal Medicine and works at Neal’s Yard Remedies Head Office as Tinctures Herbal Advisor. Her training involved more than 500 hours of clinic practice, including experience at Whipps Cross Dermatology department.
