Louise Lee MGHT FHT – Therapeutic Oncology Massage

After extensive research, I chose to do my post graduate course with the renown and highly regarded Jennifer Young Training School, who specialise in training already qualified therapist in oncology touch massage. I am proud to be able to add this to my list of accredited therapies.

Therapeutic Oncology Massage is a specialised form of massage therapy designed for individuals undergoing treatment, recovering from, or living beyond cancer.

Created with rejuvenation in mind, to restore, lift and improve the flow of energy and nutrients to the body, face and scalp. It uses techniques that focus on providing a soothing massage, using gentle acupressure and a nurturing touch to help alleviate symptoms such as pain, anxiety, fatigue and nausea associated with cancer and its treatments.

First identifying your well-being concern, I will select the appropriate therapeutic body oil for your treatment, from the Jennifer Young Defiant Beauty skin care range, especially developed for use with oncology touch therapies, matching those concerns to specific acupressure points.

This is a massage routine that uses a light touch and is adapted to suit the individual’s condition and comfort level, promoting relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being.

At the end of your treatment, acupressure plasters are applied on specific areas to enhance the benefits of the treatment, alleviate concerns further and to continue your relaxation journey.
