Cottage Flowers would like to invite you to their open garden event on Wednesday 24th August, during which they are pleased to welcome Dr Andrew Tresidder, who will be giving a talk in the garden from 10 am-12 pm on The Healing Power of Flowers.

This workshop will begin with some gentle Hatha yoga practice, involving poses that improve flexibility and strength. Prepare your body and mind for a restful evening with this wind down session of restorative poses and calming practices”. The latter half of the workshop will focus on restorative poses where the body is encouraged to relax and rest with the use of props and supports. By holding these poses for longer we can develop physical, mental and emotional relaxation, lowering stress levels and enhancing our moods.

Enjoy a nurturing workshop which will help your body and mind slow down and release the stresses and strain of your week.
You will be guided through slow flowing yoga sequences, incorporating calming breathing techniques which will encourage tense muscles to unravel.
Please bring along a large blanket as well as a yoga mat.

Lucy’s Beginners & Refreshers Workshop

This is a workshop that gets into the nitty gritty of the Yoga poses. We explore the guidelines of each pose and we find the right or most beneficial pose FOR YOU! Everyone is individual and everyone will leave knowing that they are always going to look different in the poses, however we are going to spend sometime finding your own personal variations.
