Rosemary has been an acupuncturist in the Ilminster area since 1988. She did her initial three years of acupuncture training in East Grinstead, with further training in China and England.
Her style of acupuncture is Traditional Chinese Medicine, which works on balancing people’s energy, as practised in China for over 2000 years.
Traditional acupuncture is used for a wide range of conditions, promoting recovery to good health and well-being.
In the initial consultation, Rosemary takes a full medical history, feels the pulse at the wrist to gain information about the person’s energy and gives a treatment. The treatment involves very fine, sterile needles being placed at certain points on the body. The combination of points chosen is specific to that person and their condition. The needles are generally considered painless, Rosemary uses about four to six points per treatment.
Rosemary is a member of the British Acupuncture Council. Members follow high standards of professional conduct and safe practice and undertake regular training.
